Graduated in Veterinary Medicine, University of Bologna (Italy) in the 2000. PhD in Clinical and Emergency Veterinary Care in 2003 at the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of University of Teramo (Italy). Since 2004 Assistant-professor, teaching activity in Veterinary Internal Medicine, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Teramo. Clinical activity in Internal Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, and Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Teramo University. Area of research in Emergency and Intensive care Medicine (gut function in critical ill conditions, early nutrition support, fatty acids and other nutrients in gut homeostasis), and Diagnostic Imaging (Abdominal Ultrasound and Emergency Point of Care Ultrasound applications in Small Animal Emergency care settings).
