Dr. Giuseppe Marruchella graduated in Veterinary Medicine in March 1995 at the University of Parma (Italy). At the same University, Dr, Giuseppe Marruchella awarded the post-graduated Academic degree in Swine Diseases in September 2001. He has been working as a Researcher (“SSD VET/03, “Veterinary Pathology”) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Teramo (Italy) since November 2001. Main fields of interest: (a) diagnostic necropsy in farm animals; (b) pathogenesis of respiratory disorders caused by infectious agents and affecting pigs and domestic ruminants; (c) development of alternative methods to score lesions in slaughtered animals. Dr. Giuseppe Marruchella published more than 180 scientific papers, 60 of which indexed in Scopus.
