Graduted in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Teramo in 2001. She spent a visiting period at Klinik für kleine Haustiere, Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover, Germany and at the Departement für klinische Veterinarmedizin, Abteilung fur Neurologie, University of Bern, Switzerland (2002-2003). She gained a Phd at the University of Teramo in 2006 and then she received a post-doctoral grant (neurology). Since 2009 she has been working as specialized practioner at the Clinica delle Emergenze Veterinarie, Rome. In 2012 she qualified as European Specialist in Veterinary Neurology (ECVN). Since 2018 she is an adjunct professor at the University of Teramo (Neurology and Neurosurgery) and she is currently involved as external specialized neurologist at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the University of Teramo.
